Ralph Sullivan, 79, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 9, 2004, at his home. He was born January 10, 1925 the son of the late Ben and Doshie Adams Sullivan. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Eva “Jackie” Sullivan, his four children and their spouses: Mark and Kelli Sullivan of Pedro, Ohio, Susan and Mark Ball of Huntington, Steven and Angela Sullivan of Huntington, and Teresa and Charles Barry of Milton, six grandchildren: Jordan Sullivan, Zachary and Tyler Ball, Jacob and Jeremy Sullivan, and Jessica Turner, two sisters-in-law Jewel Sullivan and Patty Queen, and a brother and sister-in-law Ted and Pauline Wood, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Chester, Grover, Richard Sullivan, and one sister, Eva Sullivan. He was retired from C&O railroad with over 40 years of service, a veteran proudly serving in the U.S. Army during WWII from February 10, 1943 thru February 14, 1946. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who always had a story to share. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Henson Mortuary with Pastor Tony Vance and Pastor James Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
