Alma Lou Jeffers Thompson, of Barboursville, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a former school teacher, a minister's wife for 51 years,was a music major at Asbury College, was a member of Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church, Hurricane. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur Guy and Lula Lane Jeffers and her husband Rev. Charles S. Thompson, Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Kathy Thompson, Orlando, Fla. her sister, Helen Jean Armstrong, Franklin, Indiana, two Grandchildren, Services will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church,Hurricane with Dr. Dan Hogan officiating, Burial will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday July 6,2004, Mt. Storm Cemetery, Mt. Storm, W.Va.
