I would like to express my condolences to Mr. Cecils' family. I was one of his many students(1961). I often thought of Mr. Cecil and how he was always encouring me to do my best. Because of him I won a blue ribbon in cabinet making. in fact, I still have the newspaper clipping with him and me. He will be missed by friends, family and his students.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr Cecil, He taught me so very much in shop class at Enslow, I was privledged to be one of his students for 3 years (1962-1965) and still today after 41 years I follow the safety rules he taught me while im working in my home work shop. I am positive that Mr. Cecil is with God.I will always remember him.

Hi Bobby and Susan, It is with great sadness and tears that I am writing this note. Only by chance did I learn (in time) of your dad's death. It is hard living away from home and not knowing what is happening there. Bobby, your mom and dad were an extremely important part of my life while I was growing up. I felt so much a part of your family it was as if they were my own parents and I loved them dearly. Even as time marched on, we always visited and kept in touch. I will never forget my visit with your dad after my mom and your mom passed. We cried together and he told me he would always be there for me. You know your dad was a man of few words so those words were truly sincere. My thoughts and prayers are with you now and will be with you in the coming weeks. Love, Janet Hatfield McVey
