
MRS. LOIS LUCILLE HILL WHITE, 76, of Barboursville, W.Va., widow of Harlan White, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was born March 27, 1928, in Lundale, Logan County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Oscar James and Virgie K. Spurlock Hill. She was retired from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Elmo James Hill. Surviving are sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruby and Charles Kennedy of Madison, W.Va., Alma and Bob Betker of Princeton, W.Va., Joann and Charles Hazelett of Huntington, W.Va., Ima Jean and Jim Bailey of Alexandria, Va., Jeanette and James Mullins of Springfield, Va., and Patty and Dee German of Cedar Crest, N.M.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wilmer and Hollene Hill of Perris, Calif., and Oscar and Jeanie Hill of Georgia; and sister-in-law, Betty Jo Hill of Cyclone, W.Va. Funeral 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at Henson Mortuary by the Rev. Sonny Williams; burial in Beech Grove Cemetery, Muncie, Ind.
