Ethel Mae RoachEthel Mae Roach, 88, of Huntington, died Saturday at St Mary's Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, at Kuhn Memorial Presbyterian Church, Barboursville, by Rev. J.D. Harrah. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. The daughter of Elmer and Virginia Smith Morrison, she was born December 27, 1915, in McDowell County, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Roach, her son, Edward Roach, Jr., and her grandson, Justin Roach. Her brothers, Charles Morrison and Elmer Morrison of Brevard County, Florida, also preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter Diana Blake, sons Tom Roach, and David Roach and his wife, Peggy all of Huntington; grandchildren Amy Short and her husband Rob of Roanoke, VA, Eddie and Jon Tyler Roach of Huntington, Jennifer Roach of Johnson City, TN, and Katy and Travis Wallace of Huntington; great grandchildren Kasey and Hunter Short of Roanoke, VA; sisters-in-law Betty Roach of Williamson, WV, Anne Roach of Ft. Thomas, KY, and Edna Morrison of Savannah, GA; a special niece and her family, Peggy and Ken Dixon of Welcome, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kuhn Memorial Presbyterian Church, Barboursville. There will be no visitation.

Diana,Tommy and David, I saw the announcement in the paper. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother was certainly a very nice lady. The picture you used was so pretty of her. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
