1933 - 2005
 DELORIS WANDA PINKERMAN, 71, of Barboursville, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, went to be with the Lord Saturday, February 5, 2005, at her residence after a brief illness, She was born November 16, 1933, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Ira John and Nellie Nida Gue. She worked as a produce manageer at Big Bear in Huntington until her retirement. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, George Pinkerman; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheri and Mike Christian of Barboursville; Two sons and daughters-in-law George Jr. and Brenda Pinkerman and Greg and Georgia Pinkerman of Barboursville; three sisters, Lora and Darius Hall, Shirley and Johny Jordan and Sue and Larry Brown; one brother, Ira Edward and Dottie Gue; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey and Deanna Pinkerman, Chad and Brandie Pinkerman, Brian and Melanie Pinkerman, Chris Pinkerman, Melissa and Matthew Christus, Casey Christian, Whitney Christian and Bianca Pinkerman; and great-grandchildren, Madeline, Faiith and Brady Pinkerman and Bentleigh Christus. She also leaves a large and loving extended family and circle of friends. She would want mentioned a very favorite friend, her cat Sheba. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Redith Mae "Dickie" Burgess and two brothers, Carroll Buford and Donald Dwight Gue. The family would like to thank Glory Way Baptist Church, of which she was a member, its pastor, David Cardwell and his wife Dorothy and its members who offered their prayers and support. A special thanks to the Oncology Unit at St. Mary's Medical Center and Hospice of Huntington. We look to our church, friends and family for comfort in this time of sorrow. We look to God for our eternal life. Funeral 2p.m/ Monday, February 7, 2005, at HENSON MORTUARY,Pea Ridge; burial in White Chapjel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. I am so sorry that I cannot be with our family at this time. I wish that I could tell you how much my heart goes out to you. I have good memories with Deloris when we were growing up.
