James M. Turner,84, of Huntington, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2005, at St. Mary's Medical center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 2, 2005, at 11:00A.M at Henson Mortuary, by Pastor Gordon Rutherford, Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Garden, Barboursville, He was born July 22, 1920 in Huntington the son of the late Russell D. and Lula Hawthorne Turner. In addition to his parents he was preceded by three sisters, Bessie Witten, Eloise Bledsoe, Sandra Kay Worley. He was retired from Roberts Exxon with 44years of service and was a member of Olive Missionary Baptist Church. he is survived by his wife of 67 years Eva Campbell Turner' two daughters Sheila Dowdy and her husband James of Huntington, Pamela Barker and her husband Charles Proctorville, Ohjio, one son J. Randall Turner and wife Patricia Turner- Roanoke, Va. three sisters Mary Salmons- Barbouirsville, Sharon Morris- Hurricane, Karen Hughes- Culloden, three brothers Dareel Turner- Dayton, Ohio, Dale Turner, Vienna,W.Va., Robert Turner Lebanon, Tenn, 5 grandchildren, Terri Hamlin and husband Dwain, Shayne Barker, Melissa and Ashleigh Turner and Charla Davis, and her husband Shane, four greatgrandchildren, Jamilyn and Nathan Hamlin, Daniel and Brooke Davis, he is also survived by his canine buddy, Tara lee.
