I'm very sorry to hear about Jim I always thought he was a great person and a wonderful softball coach. I have often thought about him over the years wondering where he was and what he was doing. He voluntered a lot of his time during the summer to girls softball without asking for anything in return. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

First let me say I am so sorry for your loss. You probably don't remember me but I'm sure we have met a long time ago. We are actually related and by looking at Jimmy's picture I think I know how. My Mom was Barbara Swann Honaker. She was the daughter of William Oliver Swann which I think was Jimmy's brother. I remember my Mom talking about him, Rosalie and Patty. Mom died on February 6, 1996 and my Dad died on February 8, 1995. Once again, I am so sorry for your loss. Darla (Honaker) Farley

Jim was my first coach in softball backin the 70`s at Hamlin. He was a fine man that taught us a lot about the game of softball but more importantly about being a good person and always treating everyone with respect. May our prayers be with you and the family.

I am so sorry for your loss, my father past away last year, so I know somewhat how you feel, just know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I remember how friendly and kind your Dad was, and how welcome he always made us feel in your home. Once again I am so sorry. May God Bless you all. Tina
