REV. THOMAS ARMSTRONG DUNCAN, 92, of Princeton, WV., formerly of Huntington, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2005, in Glenwood Park Retirement Center, Princeton. A private graveside service will be conducted at 2pm, Friday, April 15, 2005 at Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, by William D. Price Jr, Rev, Duncan was born June 5, 1912, in Knoxcille, Tenn., son of the late George and Anna Armstrong Duncan. He was a retried United Methodist minister, having served 44 years in the ministry. He was a member of Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, and retired from ST. Luke's United Methodist Church in Huntington. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary G. Galbraith Duncan in 2001; a son, Thomas A. Duncan Jr., and three brother. Surviving Rev. Duncan are his wife Lois Mae Gwinn Duncan; two duaghters, Mary Jo Reed of Columbus, Ohio and George Anne Nash of Anderson, SC; one son, John G. Duncan of Louisville, KY.; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granchildren. There will be no visitation. My sincere condolences to Rev. Duncan's children and grandchildren. You know that he had a special place in my heart, and I'm sure he has achieved his richly deserved peace.
