 WILLIAM MITCHELL SHORT, 80, of Huntington passed away Thursday, June 30, 2005, In Mariner Health Care Center. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday at Henson Mortuary, Pea Ridge Road, Huntington, by the Rev. James Mayes. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born April 13, 1925, in Greenbottom, W.Va., the son of the late Rufus and Sadie Bailey Short. He was a retired warehouse worker from Mutual Wholesale in Huntington, he was also preceded ibn death by 8 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife, Freda Louise Woods Short of Huntington and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11am Saturday until service time at Henson Mortuary. We are very saddened to learn of the death of our brother in the lord and a very good and long time friend.Rosemary and i loved Mitchell and Freda from the first time we met them,as we were new christians at the time,at Hash Ridge Baptist church back in the early 70's.
We love you Freda,wish we could be there and we will be praying for you.
