WILMA JEAN WARD, 77, of Lesage, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at Elkins Personal Care Home, Branchland, W.Va. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005 by the Rev. Bobby Holcomb at Cox Landing United Methodist Church, Lesage, where she was a member,. Interment will be in Spurlock Cemetery, Glenwood, W. Va. Born June 24, 1928 in Cabell County, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Berkley and Ruby Gill Simpson. She was also preceded inb death by a sister, Peggy Gross. Skhe is survived by her husband, Paul W. Ward; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Cheryl and Austin Hardwick; grandson Daniel Hardwick of Lesage; and brother Charles Simpson of Glenwood. So sorry to hear of Wilma's passing. She was always so kind to our family, anytime you saw her she was the same. There are many precious memories our families shared from church and visiting at Ruby's house. Know that she has found perfect peace. Love and prayers to you all.
