My grandfather was a wonderful inspiration in my life and even though I was not a part of his life for many years due to parental divorce, I have loved him and kept him close to my heart. I have driven by the home many times and wanted to stop to say hi but instead I have kept on driving and said a prayer that one day I would see him again. My prayer was answered the day in the hospital when I got to see him and give him a hug. He told me he has thought of me often too and has loved me deep in his heart. Although I am not a Lycan by birth, I am a Lycan in heart and I know my grandfather was proud of my accomplishments. I am sorry to read of his passing and I know that this time is hard for all of the family. I feel the pain of his loss but I know that he is resting peacefully with God and with my other grandfather, Rev. Charles Thompson, and someday I too will be with both of them. My thoughts are with you and your family today and always Betty. My children send their love and condolences as well. Love, LyRonda, Cesar (my husband), Diana, Jose, Charlie (Charles named for both of my grandfathers), and Elian.
