Janetta Rose Mounts Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1925 - 2005 Janetta Rose Mounts, 80 of Barboursville, Widow of Carl Mounts, died Friday, December 9, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical center, Huntington, She was born Aug 24, 1925, Logan, W.Va. the daughter of the late Dennis & Roxie Blevins, Survivors include son, David Mounts- Lavalette, three Grandchildren, Kathryn Andrea Rose Howrad- Huntington, David Carl Lee Mounts- Hurricane, Amanda Blaker- Charleston, GreatGrandchildren- Haley Marie Howard, Sydney Rice, Noah Blaker, Allison Blaker. She attended Logan High School, Mt. State Business College, wrote for the Logan Banner, and worked for C&O Railroad,She opened a Merle Norman Cosmetic Store in Barboursville, and moved to the Huntington Mall where it is still located. Visitation will be from 4-7P.M. Sunday, December 11, 2005, at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville.

Dear David, Your mother and I go back to fourth grade at West Logan Elementary School, and later on we both worked for WV Coal & Coke at Omar at the same time. I saw her this summer. It was the first time she did not know me or respond. I'm happy that she is now with her Lord. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. May God bless you all and comfort you at this sad time.
