 WILLIAM McARTHUR "Billy Joe" WOODS, 62, of Huntington went to be with the Lord and Savior, Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM Friday, January 6, 2006, at HENSON MORTUARY, with the Rev. Gallie Watts officiating. Interment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV., He was born July 2, 1943, in Cabell County, WV, son of the late William Gobell Woods and Lillian Mae Woods. He was also preceded in death by Lillian Gibson, Mommy Bessie Woods, Tammy Dillon, Shawn Cox, Mitchell Vickers, Mitchell Short and Beatrice Allen. He is survived by his wife, Patty Jean Collins Woods; children Teresa and Ray Holton, Micheal and Donna Price, Billy Allen and Bobbie Sue Woods, Billy McArthur Woods Jr., Bobby Joe and Courtney Kiser Woods, Franklin Scott Woods, Rhonda Wkoods, Pam Carroll,John and Mellissa Collins Markowitz; a special stepson, Rodney Cox; 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sisters Sandy Carey Neal and Lou Ann Martin; and a brother Frank Vickers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; a very special nephew, Adam R. Collins; several great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special in-laws, Richard Collins, Paul Collins, Beverly Collins, Rebekah Collins and Maysol Collins Wolfe,James D. and Julie Collins, Helen L. Wilson and Deborah and Greg Ellis. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 9PM, Thursday, January 5, 2006, at the funeral home. Hey Scottie - I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. I never did get to the shop to have him work on my darn door. Should have gone when you told me to. Hang in there buddy- you've had about as rough a few weeks as somebody could have. You are a good person - and things will get better for you. Take care of you and your girls - Susie Venters
