To Janet and family: I was stunned at receiving the news on Saturday morning. Losing a loyal friend who cares about you, and asks nothing in return, is rare and irreplaceable. The loss of Jack is much like having an empty spot in the room or at the table, which can never be filled. I wish you the speediest and best recovery possible; but even my own will be long in coming. Janet, it is so unfair that these compounded losses have pounded you this Spring. I am, at least, glad that you have such a large and caring host of friends and family to support you. You certainly have me. I am so sorry. Paul Ryker
