 DAISY MARIE PLYLER MC NEELEY, 86, of Ona, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the Heritage Center in Huntington. She was born on February 1, 1920 in Pocahantas County, WV, the daughter of late William and Lottie Michaels Plyler. She was preceeded in death by her husband Orland Eugene McNeeley in 1993. She is survied by three sons, William Eugene McNeely of Newport News, VA., Robert G. McNeeley, of Ona, WV., and Richard Lee McNeeley of Millersville, MD. One brother, Robert Plyler, of Milpitas, CA. She also survived by five grandchildren, Teresa Ann McNeeley, Huntsville, AL, Robert Thomas McNeeley, Atlanta GA., Elizabeth McNeeley, Baltimore, MD, Heather Thomas, Winchester, VA.,Kristie Yazel, Glen Burnie, MD., and Three Great Grandchildren. Daisy was employed as a cook for the Cabell County Board of Education at Nichols Elementary School at Ona. Visitation will be Saturday, December 30, 2006, 6 - 8 PM at HENSON MORTUARY HUNTINGTON. Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Sunday, December 31, 2006 at the Mortuary. The Rev. Cledith Campbell will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. Arraigments are being handled by HENSON MORTUARY, Huntington, West Virginia.

We're very sorry to hear of Aunt Daisy's passing,we have the whole family in our prayers and please accept our condolences.We're sorry we won't be able to attend the services,due to illness but we will be thinking of you and the family. She was such a wonderful person and a great Aunt. We will have many memories and will miss visiting her.

We are so sorry to hear of your mothers passing and wanted to express our condolences for your loss. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by many. I will always cherish the memories I have of the time spent with her growing up, she was like a second mother to me. God has taken his angel from earth to be with him. You mother was a true friend to my mother and no words can express the sadness we both feel from her loss. Our Deepest Sympathy to you and your families.
