Dear Schweitzer family,
I was saddened to hear the news of Nick's death. I sat beside him for 3 years and graduation. My maiden name was Scragg, therefore I had the privilage of having numerous converations with Nick. He was great person. I am glad we all got to see him at the reunion. He will be greatly missed. We all appreciate the work he put into the BHS class of 1985. May God be with your family.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Schweitzer, Mark and Kelly, I was greatly shocked and saddened to hear the news of Nick's death. We were very close friends through Jr. High, High School and college. I worked with him through last year on the development of the BHS website, and I know he was proud of that. As someone already mentioned, many of us will think of him when we see that site. In my visit with him for his birthday last January, the thing that stands out most to me was how much he adored his two nieces. Know that he loved you all very much. God bless you and your family in this most difficult time.

Joe, Carol and Mark,
I want to express my sympathy to you all. Nick was talent that we don't see often. He could make anyone feel like they were a million dollars. He would know the right words to speak.
So many will miss him. Whether it is those of us who graduated with him from Barboursville or friends from across the country who grew to be an extended family.
May the Lord be your comfort. Know that Nick was loved and will be missed.
We also love you.
