Etta Mae JohnsonETTA MAE JOHNSON, 78, of Huntington died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Born June 6, 1928, in Spencer, she was a daughter of the late Merville and Janet Mary Ball Starcher. She was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Clay Johnson, and two brothers. She is survived by her husband, Clay Johnson; a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Vicki Johnson of Barboursville; sisters, Geraldine Lowe of Charleston and her twin, Betty Rae McFarland of Gay; grandchildren, Nicole Leigh Simpkins of Hurricane and Cortney Lynn Johnson of Barboursville; and great-grandchildren, Jackson Keith Simpkins and Payton Elizabeth Simpkins. She was a member of Steele Memorial United Methodist Church, Barboursville.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, January 31, at HENSON MORTUARY, BARBOURSVILLE, with Dr. Ed Grant, and the Rev. Ralph Sager officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.

Visitation will be held from 6-9PM Tuesday at Henson Mortuary.
