 CYNTHIA C. MOORE, 80, of Barboursville, passed away Monday, June 4, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born, December, 1, 1926, the daughter of the late, Carl Crook Sr., and Vesta Adkins Crook, in Cabell County, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Moore in 1990. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Bill Price, of Cleveland, Ohio. One son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Karen Moore of Huntington. Two step-daughters, Bonnie and Betty Meadows, of Cleveland Ohio. One brother, Mitch Crook, of Chapin SC. Four Grandchildren, Hunter(Fallon) Moore, Culpepper, VA; Michael Moore, DeKalb, GA; Patricck Adkins, Huntington; Joshua Adkins, Columbus, Ohio; Two Greatgrand children, Faith and Hunter Moore, Culpepper, VA. She was a special caregiver to her grandchildren.
She is also survived by three nieces, Linda Hensley, Mary Ann Coalson, Angela Adams, of Huntington.
The family will be receiving friends, Thursday, June 7, 2007 from 6-8PM at HENSON MORTUARY, BARBOURSVILLE. Funeral services will be held on Friday June 8, 2007 at the Mortuary, with the Rev. E. R. Houck officiating. Burial will follow at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville.
In lieu of flowers and cards, donations may be made to Crook Church, 3536 Norwood Road, Huntington, WV, 25705.
