FARREL WOODS, 79, of Apple Grove, W.Va., passed away Monday, January 6, 2003, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2003, at Henson Mortuary, Barboursville, by the Rev. Joe Dolen and the Rev. Bob Ray. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born July 7, 1923, in Clay County, W.Va., son of the late Bill and Dola Hannah Woods. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Woods. He was a retired machinist at Connor Steel and he was a member of Balls Chapel Church. Survivors include his wife, Lydia Robinson Woods; sons and daughters-in-law, Curtis and Jane Woods of Clay, Fred and Denise Woods of Huntington and Randy and Sherri Woods of Salt Rock; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Shelby Wisman of St. Albans and Trudy and Dave Arthur of Ashton; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at Henson Mortuary.
