RUTH McGHEE WITHERS, 84, of Milton, wife of Dr. Charles T. Withers, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, in Sunbridge Care Center, Teays Valley, W.Va. She was born June 19, 1918, in Putnam County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ben and Zula Martin Irvin McGhee. She was a graduate of Hurricane High School, homemaker and member of the Barboursville Women’s Club. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Helen Bias, and one brother, Cline McGhee. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Jerry Hurley of Milton; and two grandchildren, Ethan and Emma Hurley. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2002, at Henson Mortuary, with the Rev. James McGehee officiating; burial in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2002, at Henson Mortuary.
