ELIZA "ELIZABETH" BLOWER, 95, of Huntington died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, in Burns Nursing Home, Russellville, Ala. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at Henson Mortuary by the Rev. Don Napier. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. She was born Feb. 28, 1907, in Knott County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Sylvester and Fannie Napier Patrick. She was also preceded in death in 1987 by her husband, Wilson Blower, and by a grandson, Michael Armstrong. Mrs. Blower was retired from Perry-Norvell Shoe Co., and a member of Thomas Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Eugene Blower of Huntington; two daughters, Deloris Patterson of Russellville, Ala., and Wilma Lanyon of Okeechobee, Fla.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
