Larry Alan Zimmerman, 74, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born October 11, 1946 in Huntington, WV son of the late Roy and Hilda Dalton Zimmerman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Lynn Zimmerman and a sister Rita Zimmerman Leep. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca “Becky” Zimmerman; two daughters, Tracy Bunch and Stacy (Steve) Napier; three sons, Chad, Tommy and Steve Rule; grandchildren, Brooke (Nick) Porter, Blake Irby, Miranda, Jordan and Jadyn; and two special great granddaughters McKinlea Porter, and Angel Hastings, that he loved very much; as well as many friends, his wife and family, and his retirement buddies to mourn his loss. Larry retired from INCO Alloys in Huntington, WV, after retirement he worked at Tabors Shop in Proctorville, Ohio. Larry loved to play golf, snow mobiling and being with family and friends, including his special friends, Buck Stanley, Dave Campbell, Randy, Shavor and Rick Roberts. He also loved going on golf trips with his buddies to Myrtle Beach, and snowmobiling trips with his friends. Larry was also Past Master of Crown City Masonic Lodge #536 F & AM. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Melin Moses for his care and compassion. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Jason Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 4, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Masonic Services being held at 7:30 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.ehallfuneralhome.com.
