
Adra Cremeans Dillon, 86, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday October 14, 2021. She was born August 7, 1935 to the late Walter Willard and Dora Alice Damron Cremeans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years John F. “Mack” Dillon; three brothers Willard “Bill” Cremeans, Arnold Duke Cremeans, and Darrell Cremeans; two sisters Irma Wilson and Betty Stollings. She is survived by her son John Michael Dillon of Huntington, WV and her daughter Karen Elizabeth Hodges and son-in-law Danny of Willow Wood, Ohio; three grandchildren Jessica (Keith) Pennington of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, Brittany (Eric) Freeman of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Jonathan Hodges of Huntington, WV; four great grandchildren Brayden Pennington, Emilee Freeman, Talon Pennington, and Jace Freeman; one brother George Cremeans and wife Nancy of Proctorville, Ohio; sister-in-law Judy Cremeans of Crown City, Ohio; a special caregiver Sharon Woodard; and a host of family and friends. Adra formerly attended First Wesleyan Church of Huntington, WV. She retired from Cabell County Schools where she served as a teacher’s aide at Gallaher Elementary School. Adra was known for her faith and strength in God, her love for her family and friends and her pleasant disposition. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday October 18, 2021 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Danny Hodges.
