Mark, We were members at Steele Memorial a few years ago before we moved out of town. I saw a Steele Memorial church member today at the mall and she told me about Sherry. We are so sorry to hear of your loss. She had such a sweet, sweet spirit. Praying that God surrounds you with people who will give you comfort and that he provides you with strength to take each day as it comes. Bless you and your family.

Dear Family, Sherry was a friend to me a long, long time ago when she and I worked at the movie theatres in the mid 80's. I'll never forget her wonderful smile and laugh. I moved away from the Barboursville area 20 years ago and had not seen Sherry in at least 15, so when I heard the news, I was devestated. We probably only spent a few months together as great friends, but Sherry was the type person you remember for a lifetime. Seeing her picture brought a smile to my face, but hearing the news brought me to tears for the first time since I can remember. My prayers are with you!!

Lisa and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Sherry. I have to admit, I was in shock - I had no idea that she was sick. Living out of state makes it hard to keep in touch with family and friends but I think of you and the family often. My heart just breaks for you all, especially for Mark and the children. I pray that you will find your strength in God and in the memories you have of Sherry. You are so very blessed to have such a close fmaily - please stay that way!! Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, Love, Dianna

Mark, I know that there are no words that can really comfort you at this time but please know that I'm so very sorry for the loss you are feeling and that you are in my thoughts and prayers. There will be a day when the sad memories of the upcoming days will take a back seat to the good memories you shared with Sherry.

I did not know Sherry personally but only through the community, preschool & family friends...I've heard nothing but wonderful things about her beauty-both inside and out. Just letting you all know your community and churches around you are all lifting you up in prayer. Our hearts are burdened for you. I only hope you feel our love and support.

Mark I have never lost a wife and I didn't know your or her except through her dad that I work with for so long I am sorry for you and family,Vernon, I am so sorry for you. I didn't attend your daughters funeral. That didn't keep me from thinking about you. As you know I been through loosing a child. Your daughter was only ten years older that the son I lost. Needless to say your life will never be the same. It has been 18 years since we lost our son and there is never a day and probably not many hours that go by that your aren't thinking about them and why it happened. I pray that you will make it through this sad time. It is so hard to go to funerals since this happen to us. So forgive me for not attending. Carroll Ramey

Sherry was one of my students at Cox Landing Junior High School. She was the kind of student that made you wish you could have a whole classroom full of them if they were just like her. She was always kind, considerate and helpful in class and out. I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
