Mike and Laura, I just learned of your father's passing and wanted to express my sadness at hearing the news. I still remember your father fondly and with respect. I remember a good father and a good coach. I learned lessons about hustle and endurance from the time on the field with him - valuable lessons that still serve. I hope that this message finds you both healthy and happy and doing well in life. Please feel free to contact me if you ever have the desire to catch up - my email address is attached. Again, I am sorry for your loss. Steve

Dear Laura, Mike and family, Please accept my deepest sympathy. I worked for Ray on Guam and I also remember Doris and you as children. FYI, your high school,JFK high school was condemmed last year and has to be rebuilt. I may be leaving here in a couple of years since my sentence of over 40 years is up. Probably will end up in NV. I saw Tommy Tomasiak at Steve's funeral a few years ago. Peggy is still in Temecula, CA and Michael is still in CHIPs. "They never die that live in the hearts they leave behind" Warm regards, Lance
