We feel really blessed to have known Carl. He married us on Nov. 4,1989 and was our pastor for many years. He truely was a great man of God and had a tremendous amount of knowledge of the Bible, which we admired most about him. It is comforting to know that he is Home now with our Lord and Savior, safe in His Loving arms. We will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go to all his family. We love you Nelma! and if you ever need anything please don't hesitate to give us a call. Love & Prayers, Stan, Melissa & Cody Holley

To The Cooper Family.... It is with great sorrow that I read on the internet about the passing of Carl.. He was a wonderful builder as he built our house at 1131 Sunset Terrace. We now live in South Carolina and will be unable to attend his service but our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Dear Nelma and family, Charlie and I just heard about Pastor Cooper's passing. We're stunned and heartbroken to have heard this news. However, we all know that now he's really home resting in the arms of Jesus. And, with that knowledge, we feel a spirit of joy for him and celebrate his going home to be with the one he spent a lifetime preaching about and serving. Oh, the joy he must be experiencing! Never the less, he will be missed here, but, praise God, we all know we'll meet again some day. Charlie and I pray that God's comforting hand will be upon you and your family as you go through the days ahead. I would love to hear from you when things settle down a little. Even though we're miles away and very seldom see each other, my heart grieves, for it feels as though a family member has left us. If you remember, Mom and I enjoyed many Sundays singing when he had his radio broadcast and getting to take little Keith home with us on Sundays. What a wonderful time those days were. Plus, 42 years ago Pastor Cooper married Charlie and me. What a blessing and honor to have had him, and you as well, as our friends in Christ. I'll end for now, but I do want you and your family to know you're in our prayers. In Christ's Love, Connie and Charlie

Brother Carl was a dedicated servant of our Savior! He willingly served in every capacity when asked or elected. I know he was an encouraged, because he was always interested in my work. I know today heaven is more precious...and our hope is more real. Another carpenter/preacher has made it home...and no doubt is rejoicing with a whole host of friends as they "tour the city and kick up a little gold dust."
