 Paul F. Gibson, 82, of Barboursville, WV, departed his earthly life on Sunday, February 27, 2011 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Minister Ronnie Wright. Entombment will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. He was born May 10, 1928 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Fred and Dicie Harless Gibson. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Elaine Gibson and Phyllis Jane Gibson and two brothers Clifford Gibson and Carl Gibson. He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years Elva Hensley Gibson; two daughters, Brenda Gibson of Shoals, WV, and Mary Elaine Miller of Kenova; one son, Freddie Gibson of Barboursville; two grandchildren; three brothers, William (Ann) Gibson and Jimmy Gibson of Ona, WV and Lonnie (Pat) Gibson of Huntington, WV; sister-in-law, Anna Gibson of Proctorville, OH; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Korea and was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of Johns Creek Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
