Richard Floyd Scarberry Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1964 - 2011 Richard Floyd Scarberry, 46, of Lesage, WV, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by the Rev. Randy Jeffers. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. He was born April 8, 1964 in Huntington, WV, a son of Revadene King Scarberry of Lesage and the late Lloyd Scarberry. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Chasity Scarberry; three sisters, Janet Childers, Sharon Scarberry and Debbie Jacobs; four brothers, Dallas Scarberry, James Scarberry, Ivan Scarberry and Darrell King; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington.

Dear Revadene, Know that Mom ( Joy) and I are praying for you and the rest of the family. More than anything we wish we could have been there. I am sure you were told that Gram (Linnie) passed away the 23rd. Otherwise we would have been there. I have sweet memories of Richard as a childhood friend. I will always remember the comfort he gave me at my Dad's funeral. I will never forget him. Penny

Revadene, I remember when Richard was born.....I was there. I loved all your family when we were neighbors. I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers for you and family.
