Corey and family, just let you know you continue to be in our prayers. I worked at SMMC and it was always a joy to run into Kathy. She was always so uplifting and encouraging to all that she met . She was always eager to volunteer and help out anywhere she was needed through out the hospital , committees and such. She has definitely left a void at SMMC which is but a mear shadow of the void left within your hearts, I am sure. Prayers of comfort , strength and understanding for you.

Kathy will me extremely missed. She was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I worked at STM with her. I worked in the Outpatient department. I quit STM in 2007 and I thought about her at different times. I always looked forward to seeing her smile and talking with her. She always made you feel better about life. She was an ASSET to STM Medical Center. I loved Kathy and I know she is in heaven

I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for all you kind thoughts and prayers, I means a lot to me, my daddy, and my brother. My mother had a very infectious smile and laughter. She would go without to make sure another was taken care of. Words will never be able to express how deeply she will be missed. She was my best friend and my shoulder to lean on. Thank you mom for all the memories and and being there for my boys, you were the best nanny they could have ever asked for and have left very large shoes for me to fill and follow in but I promise that I will try my hardest to. I love you with all my heart always have and always will!! @---{---

My heartfelt prayers and love to Kathys family, I'm so sorry. I grew up in Malcom Springs and remember the "Snider" girls being friends with my older siblings (Jamie, Demonsa, Jeff and Karla Prichard) and I remember Kathys smiles. Later in life I met up with her at SMMC where we worked and she still had that smile and she brought happiness to many with that smile. I pray that God surround you all with his love, peace and comfort. Nicki Thompson RN

Tara,I am so shocked and saddened by the death of your mother. I enjoyed working with her in the late 90's with the band boosters at Cabell Midland. I will always remember her smile, her contagious laughter, and her fun ways of dealing with every situation. Her love of,and dedication to, her kids, family and friends were of utmost importance to her. It was always obvious what (and who) came first in her life! I always tried to work with her on any project because she was so energetic and fun, so warm and kind, and just a pure joy to be around!! The orneriest person I ever knew! But a heart of gold!! First to be there to help anyone at any time.I admired everything about her. I grieve for you and your family for your loss. I wish I had the power to bring her back to you and your family. No amount of words or prayers can do that now. Only God understands her passing at this time. May He hold you all in the palm of His hand and comfort you in ways only He knows how. With great sympathy and sorrow, Gail Neuhouser

I am so sorry for the loss of Kathy. In the 8 years I worked at SMMC not one day went by that she and I did not talk. My husband also worked at SMMC and says that she was one of the nicest ladies. Our early loss is Heaven's gain. God has called one of the best people home to get her Heavenly reward. We will always love her.

Gina and Lynne, There is something special about knowing folks in your younger years and growing up with them. I saw Kathy last year a class of '79 gathering and it was just like we had just graduated. Kathy always had an outgoing and very upbeat personality. Kathy and the yellow coupe were the hit of the afternoon last year along with her her joking and fun personality. I am sitting here thinking of the two of you, your mother and Kathy's entire family and want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Our class will never be the same. Bill Buckner

I am sitting hear reading all the wonderful things about my sister and know that not only did we lose a member in our family chain but that all of you did as well. Kathy was one of those rare souls placed on this earth to make our life journey a pleasent one. From the smile in elementary school, the softball games at Ona, the girl that was always sitting the bench on the bball team but kept up the smiles, the mom that made all the cheerleading uniforms because she loved doing it or the friend at St. Marys that if she knew you or family was there...she was there for you!! All she had to do was hear that you needed something and next thing you know there is that extra pillow or blanket to make the stay a little easier. Our family can only thank all of you for your warm thoughts and only ask that she be remembered and that every day when you see someone that needs a smile or a hug (and you will!)you think of her and follow through. It is amazing what a smile will do. Again thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jVbkz_3lO3c

It saddens my heart to hear of Kathy's passing, I was in her class at St. Joe grade school. She had a smile that was so warming to the heart. I ran into Kathy in the halls of St. Mary's when my father was having surgery a few years ago, and noticed that warm loving smile heading towards me....I immediately knew it had to be Kathy "Snider"...she couldn"t believe I remembered her. We are deeply saddened to hear of Kathy's passing...She will always be remembered as the funny girl who always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eyes...May you be comforted in this time of sorrow....God Bless you all....Gregory & Dreama Wallace...

Kathy, I have so many fond memories of you. You have left footprints on the hearts of many that will never forget you. Your smile and your laughter are unforgetable. I pray that God wraps his arms around your family at this difficult time and carries them through. Rest in peace my friend and keep the "lighthouse" shining. Love you dearly.
