1939 - 2011
 Burman Drew Cooper, 72, of Milton, WV, died peacefully at his residence and went home to be with our Lord on Friday, May 13, 2011. He was born on February 12, 1939 in Huntington, a son of the late Burman Elsworth Cooper and Daphena Jenkins Cooper Holley. He left behind his wife of 49 years, Donna Marie Powers Cooper, their two sons, Drew Douglas, his wife, Cathy Lynn, Daren Dwight and his wife, Kimberly Dawn. He also left behind the prizes of his life, his three grandchildren, Catherine Alexandra, William Andrew, and Parker Allison, his new puppy, Sam, and special friends Kent Gross, Linford Meadows, Oval Clagg, and Morris Stollings. He was President of Milton Little League for 12 years, retired from Cabell County Board of Education as a special needs school bus driver. He really loved working the gate at Cabell-Midland ball games, and he and his wife, enjoyed spending time at Milton Senior Citizens Hall. He was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church since 1970, and also attended the First Flagler Baptist Church, in Flagler Beach, FL while in Florida. Drew was also a member of the Lebanon Masonic Lodge, # 68, A. F. & A.M., Milton. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton by Rev. Mark Hesson,, Rev. Chelsie Gibson and Rev. Chaffin Crank. Burial will be in Toney Hill Cemetery. Masonic graveside services will be conducted by the Lebanon Lodge, #68 of Milton. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Huntington, Box 464, Huntington, 25709 or Little Victories Animal Shelter, Ona, WV. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemories.com/wallace. Following funeral services, there will be a gathering at the Chestnut Grove Community Center.

Amber and I just found out about "Uncle Drew" as Amber fondly remembers him when he was her bus driver. Please accept our sincerest condolences and sympathy in this time of sorrow. He will forever be in our memory and heart.
