Rev. Ralph Daniel "Danny" Jeffrey Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1943 - 2011 Rev. Ralph Daniel Danny Jeffrey, 67, of Salt Rock, WV, formerly of Little Hocking, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in Agusta, GA. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Jeff Rhodes and Rev. David Cardwell. Burial will be Baylous Cemetery. He was born November 2, 1943 in Norfolk, VA, a son of the late Rev. Newman and Leva Johnson Jeffrey. He was a retired employee of State Electric. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria Jean Jeffrey. He is survived by his wife, Janet Baker Jeffrey; daughters and son-in-law, Delora Elmore, Pam Clatterbuck, and Priscilla and Larry Hopkins; one son, Ralph Jeffrey, II., and four grandchildren; brothers, Richard, John, Stephen, James and Jerry Jeffrey; and sisters, Judy Warfield and Delores Garrett. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com.wallace.

I went to Barboursville High School with Danny Jeffrey for three years; we were grads 1961. I was married to his brother John P. Jeffrey for nearly 18 years; during those years, our family would visit Danny's family, but we were never close. Danny always seemed to be a loner, but Dan was a genius. In later life, he preached some; after his first wife died, he married his brother David's widow, Janet Baker Jeffrey. When Danny passed, he left behind Janet Baker Jeffrey Jeffrey. Go figure_20/20. Who knew his heart but God in a vision of Heaven.

So sorry to hear about Danny's passing, know that you are all in our parayers. I still can here him preaching his heart out for Jesus Christ. All those things he preached about he is seeing today. God Bless you all. Tom, Lisa, Tyler and Ryan Leasure

Janet and all the family. Danny was a wonderful Minister and close friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. We will certainly miss him at conference. We loved him and our prayers are with you. God Bless
