1968 - 2011
 Franklin Todd Adkins, 42, of Ft Myers, FL and also of Hurricane, WV, passed away Monday May 30, 2011. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the Forest Memorial Park Mausoleum, Milton. He was born August 22, 1968, in Huntington, a son of Franklin D. and Pauline Akers Adkins of Ona, WV. He was a graduate of Teays Valley Christian School, attended Marshall University and was the former owner of St. Albans Floral. He was an avid supporter of the Biewer Club of America and Animal Rescue. Also surviving is his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Smith-Adkins; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Carol Jean Adkins of Ona, WV, and Theresa and James Dean of Franklin, TN; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Lois Scherer of Pt. Pleasant, WV; brother-in-law, Donald "Donny" Smith of Hurricane, WV; and nephews and niece, Joshua Lykins, Spencer Dean and Lauren Dean of Franklin, TN, and his beloved pets, Nippy, Backy, Vegas, Dixie, Ha-ri, Weebert, and Addy Mae. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com.wallace.

There are no words to express my sorrow for Jim and the rest of Franklin's family. Franklin was surely one of the finest people I have known and I will greatly miss his friendship and humor. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Todd through the dog club. I am shocked and saddened at his sudden passing. He had an infectious personality and I so enjoyed his company. Todd will be sorely missed. My deepest condolences to Libby and his family members. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
