Barbara Florence McDaniel, 85, of Culloden, WV, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 27, 1926 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Marshall and Pauline Leach Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Kenneth McDaniel. She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Nimmo and her husband Charlie of Roanoke, VA; two sons, Samuel McDaniel and his wife Brenda, Daniel McDaniel and his wife Ann, all of Culloden, WV; two sisters, Ginnie Fugate of Culloden and Becky (Paul) Wilmoth of Gallipolis, OH; five grandchildren, Heather (Greg) Aliff and Jennifer (Rich) Maxey, all of Roanoke, Shelli (Shawn) Fox of Culloden, Marshall (Ashley) McDaniel of Hurricane, WV, and Johnathan Lee McDaniel, of Culloden; nine great-grandchildren, Mason Aliff, Cash Maxey, Miller Maxey, Gracie Edmunds, Noel Edmunds, Adrianna McDaniel, Alexandra McDaniel, Sophie McDaniel and Lilly McDaniel. Private services will be held at a later date. Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, is in charge of arrangements. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always had a positive outlook on life and brought happiness and laughter to everyone around her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
