 Lynda Lee Mayes Williams, 62, of Huntington, WV, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. Marys Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel by Pastor Mark Jarrell. She was born November 9, 1948 in Charleston, WV, a daughter of Rosa Wright Ewing of Charleston, WV. She was also preceded in death by her birth father, Keith Hartley and her dad, Maynard Ewing. She was a retired registered nurse at St. Mary's Medical Center after forty-two years of service. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Gene Williams; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Tommy and Shannon Mayes of Barboursville and Scott Mayes of Huntington; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy and Tim Spradling of Charleston, WV, and Donna and Pat Chatfield of Martinsburg, WV; one brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Michelle Ewing of Charleston, WV; three grandchildren, Cameron Mayes, Savannah Mayes, and Scott Allen "Sammy" Mayes Jr. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Liver Transplant Fund, UK Healthcare, 138 Leader Avenue, Lexington, KY 40506-9983. I worked with Linda at SMMC for several years and always had a lot of respect for her. She was a kind person and will be missed by many. My thoughts and Prayers to her family during this difficult time.

Our prayers are with the family at this tragic time.. Linda was so good to all of us especially during the time we sat in the waiting room in 1999 while Bobby was in ICU. Her kindness was above and beyond to each of us even though we were her "ex" family members.
We know she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
