Helen Walls, 91, of Yorba Linda, CA, formerly of Barboursville, WV, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at St. Jude's Hospital in Fullerton, CA. Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Both will be at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel in Barboursville, WV. Burial will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Helen Walls was born on July 27, 1920, in Matewan, WV, daughter of the late Anthony Starr and Rachel Starr Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Walls; one son, Fletcher Walls; sisters, Beulah Hinchman, Sylvia Starr, and Coleen Hoffnagle. She is survived by two daughters Nancy Hunyadi (son-in-law Matt Hunyadi) and Kara Bluntach (Don Bluntach) all of Yorba Linda, CA; one sister, Patricia Sydnor of Huntington, WV, one brother, Jake Clark of Barboursville, WV; daughter-in-law Sandra Walls of Johnson City, TN; three grandsons, Robert and Edward Walls of Gray, TN, and Anthony Walls of Kingsport, TN; two granddaughters Julia Walters of Asheville, NC and Erzsebet Hunyadi of Yorba Linda, CA; great-grandchildren Carson and Marinda Walls of Gray, TN, and Zack Walters of Asheville, NC.
