Inez Adkins Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1942 - 2011 Inez Katherine Adkins Mays Adkins, 68, of East Lynn, WV, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Emual Adkins. Burial will be in Mays Cemetery, East Lynn. She was born October 22, 1942, in Wayne County, WV, a daughter of the late Audie and Rebecca Perry Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clinton Mays; one son, Floyd Lee Mays; six brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Kermit Adkins; two daughters and -sons-in-law, Connie and Tom Boyce of Glenwood, and Anita and Fred Farley of Chesapeake, OH; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd Mays and Melissa Starcher of Huntington, and Boyd and Kristi Mays of Branchland; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Alberta and Hughie Adkins, of East Lynn, Linda and Everett Dillman of Huntington, and Carolyn and Hanable Adkins of East Lynn; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Audie Adkins, Jr. of East Lynn, and Charlie and Joyce Adkins of Wayne; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tiny and Brenda Davis of East Lynn; eleven grandchildren, Keith and Roxie, Shawn and Kayla, Jason and Jamie, Devan, Madison, Macey, Corey, Cody, Emmily, Christian, and Rachel; six great-grandchildren , Katarina, Katrina, Lestat, Payton, Mason and Hunter. The family would like to thank the Oncology Staff of St Mary's Medical Center and the Staff of Emogene Dolen Jones Hospice House for their care and kindness during her illness. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 pm at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Heartfelt condolences to her family. She was a sweet person and it was a pleasure getting to know her at the nursing home. She always had a smile and kind word to say. We will miss her dearly. May God comfort your hearts.
