Nancy Sue Bowen Lane, 67, of Lesage, WV, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Everett Bowen. She was born January 19, 1944, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Everett and Margie Mayes Bowen. She retired from Special Metals with 16 years of service. She was treasurer of Local 40 Steelworkers Union and a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Guyandotte. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Fawnda and John Slaughter of Clarksville, TN; two sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmie Roger Lane II and Donette of Barboursville, and Erick Shawn Lane of Lesage; one brother and sister-in-law, Everett and Sandy Bowen; nine grandchildren, Nyssa, Ericka, Leela, Janelle, Elizabeth, Brianne, Ian, Jimmie III, and Silas; and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. We are really sorry for all of you who has loss a very dear mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother.
