 John Henry Pruitt, 83, of Sandusky, OH, passed away October 6, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will follow in Bowen Cemetery. He was born October 5, 1928, in Wayne, WV, a son of the late Eugene Milton Pruitt and Nancy Ann Berry Pruitt. He was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and Ronald Callaway and Delilah Ann and Terry Dean; three sons and daughters-in-law, John Edward and Bonnie Pruitt, David Earl and Amey Pruitt, and Johnnie William and Jackie Pruitt; one sister, Lena Ruth Pruitt; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. Sunday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
