 Eloise Conrad Chapman, 77, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Gods House of Prayer by Pastor Ray Sovine. Burial will be in Staten Chapel Cemetery, Milton, WV. She was born July 12, 1934 in Mason County, WV, a daughter of the late McKinley and Vertie Toney Conrad. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Chapman and one daughter Brenda Kay Chapman. She is survived by one daughter, Janet Willis; two sons, Roger (Susan) Chapman and Rick ( Paula Alford) Chapman; two sisters, Evaline Chapman and Betty Adkins; four grandchildren, Joshua Chapman, Odell Willis, Stephanie Fisher and Justin Chapman; five great grandchildren, Tyler Willis, Sophia Fisher, Cameron Fisher, Odie Willis and Jacob Lee. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton and one hour prior to the service at the church. SHE WAS A GREAT LADY. I ALWAYS THOUGHT SHE WAS SO FUNNY. SHE WAS A VERY DEAR FRIEND TO MY MOTHER (OLA MEADOWS).SHE HAD RED HAIR AND AS I GOT OLDSER I THOUGHT MY RED HAIR WOULD NEVER TURN GRAY BECAUSE HERS DIDNT. WHAT A JOKE ON ME. LUVED HER AND WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.

God bless all of you in your time of need. Eloise was a great woman and Grandmother. I am saddened by your loss. Janet, She loved Tyler and was there when she could be for his birth..his surgerys..and there is a special place in Heaven for your Mother. Words cannot express what a truly wonderful woman she was.
