Lillian K. Densmore, 86, of Lesage, WV, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, October 22, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, October 28, 2011. She was born October 23, 1924 in Borderland, KY, a daughter of the late John T. and Amanda Riggs Johnson. She is survived by eight children, Kathy Mann, Judy Sawyers, Edward (Butch) Perry, Linda Toney, Rita Perry, Sharon Wright, Trish Bottoms, and Rhonda Woodrum; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be after 2:00 pm Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Lillian. I am praying for your family that God will give you comfort and peace at this time. I am sorry I did not know that she lived so close in Lesage until I read it in the paper. I remember her simile and her love of hats. She was a sweet lady.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Lillian was a great lady who always had a smile and a hug for us at the Guyandotte Library. She was one of my favorites, and I was just wondering how she was the other day as I hadn't seen her in some time. She will be so missed.

To the Family of Lillian Densmore, So sorry for your loss!I remember Lillian coming to our house when I was a little girl with Uncle John and Aunt Mandy. Uncle John was a brother of my grandmother, Laura Johnson Thompson. I am Ella Thompson-Hayton's youngest daughter.
