 Wanda Louise Boster, 80, of Barboursville, went home to be with Jesus on November 9, 2011, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor Kenny Estep and Rev. Richard Sexton. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. She was born November 10, 1930, in Lesage, WV, a daughter of the late Harry T. Newman and Alma Kathleen Adams Newman. She was a former co-owner of Four Seasons Ski Loft and she attended Lewis Memorial Baptist Church. She was a member of Tri-State Artist Association and the First State Bank Harvest Club. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Boster and sister, Joan Bowman. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Andrew Hamsher of Monroe, North Carolina; one son and daughter-in-law, Jefferson Dean and Jeanette Boster of Barboursville; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Nancy Young, Dorothy Harper, and Brenda and Steve Starkey; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Claudette Newman; 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, WV, 25702.
