 Virginia Darlene Beckett, 50, of Salt Rock, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by the Rev. David Cardwell and Rev. Johnny Gue. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. She was born October 4, 1961, in West Hamlin, a daughter of Kenneth and Dorothy Lucas Ross of Branchland, WV. In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Jessica Beckett of Salt Rock, WV; one son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Brandi Beckett of Salt Rock, WV; one brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie Gail and Sarah Ross of Huntington, WV; four grandchildren, Abigail Hatfield, Jaykob Hatfield, Jeremy Beckett, and Brooklyn Beckett; and several friends and loved ones. I have known Darlene since we were 5. She was always smiling and somewhat bashful at times. My heart felt sadness to the family and friends of this very nice girl/lady.

I'm so sorry, my love and prayers are with all of you.I can remember when she was just a baby. Joey was born in 1960, they grew up and went to school together. We all went to church together. We will all really miss her,but her suffering and pain is all over. We will all be together one day. What a reuion that will be, with all of our loved ones and friends.

this is charlotte, jimmy n fern oldest. i was in grade above darlene. my sis Katrina childers was in same class. i am so sorry to here of Darlene's passing, i live up here in hurricane, and ran into bout year ago up this way. my prayers and my family's are with you all.
