1931 - 2011
 James Robert Frye, 80, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, December 16, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Minister Dave Templeton. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. He was born April 5, 1931, in Logan County, WV, a son of the late Louis and Alice Lambert Frye. He was a brick mason for over fifty years, a member of the Bricklayers Union Local #5, Huntington, and a lifetime member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, a member of Merritts Creek Church of Christ and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the US Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post #1, Paris, France and later joined the American Legion # 16, Huntington. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Seth Sansom. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Joyce McCloud Frye; three daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Richard Reeser of Huntington, Linda and Steve Sansom of Salt Rock, and Carrie and Ronald McDonald of Florida; one son, James Robert Frye Jr. Jimbo of Barboursville; two brothers, Clarence Stacy and his wife, Nora, of New York and Charles Stacy of Indiana; seven grandchildren, Amy McDonald, Daniel McDonald and his wife, Laura, Jason Sansom, Jamie Sansom and his wife, Chasity, Kelby Sansom and Nicholas Sansom, and Brandon Frye; two great-grandchildren, Tarah LeMoine and Kayla Rose McDonald, and his little pet, Dinky. I'm looking for Clarence Stacy,the singer.He played with my brother Joe Piros(Pierce) in Cherry Tree WV
about 1949.My brother was born in
1939.If this is him,could I get his
address from you.He came to our door in 1959 with his hit record,
Lonely Guy,which I still have.
