Bridget and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Blackie always had a smile for everyone, and he didn't know a stranger. I loved the picture in the paper also. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

Carl never met anyone he didn't like. He always had a smile that was contagious, and a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his Kohl's family.

Unfortunately I only met "Gamps" once and spent only a few days with him. However, in the short time that I spent with him and his family,I would have to agree that his smile and his happy go lucky demeanor was infectious. I wish I could have known him longer and been able to spend more time with him in hopes some of what he had could rub off on me. I regret that we are unable to be there with the family and celibrate the life of such a great, wonderful and well loved man. xoxo to all

To the family of Junior Black - I am his first cousin on his father Carl's side, and just wanted to let you know how sorry I am to learn of his passing. I had no idea he had been sick. I will always remember him as being a polite and caring person, and he was very much loved. Please let Bridget know I am thinking of her at this sad time also. And by the way, I loved the picture of him in the paper.
