We miss you so much!! Christmas is very close and it is going to be the hardest thing ever, watching the boys have to go through this Christmas without their daddy. I remember when they would wake us up super early cause they saw the gifts under the tree. And how you would smile and laugh and help them with their new toys. But we know that you are watching over us and having an amazing Christmas up in heaven!! We love you so much and miss you like crazy!!

Well babe it's been almost 6 months since God called your name to take you home to Heaven! There isnt one second out of any day that goes by that I dont think of you and wish that you could be here watching the boys grow up! You would be so proud of them Steve, they are so smart and are getting smarter everyday! When I look at Zakky, I see you. He looks just like you baby! It kills me sometimes and makes me cry, But I know your spirit lives on through our boys! The holidays are growing near and it is gonna be so hard having to go through them without you! But I am staying strong for our boys and I know that you are watching over us each and everyday! Hunter tells me all the time that you live with Jesus in the clouds and he waves and talks to you. Zakky he carries around your picture alot and hugs it tight to his little chest. Everytime they as k for you, it breaks my heart in two. I talk of you often and tell them of all the times we had together! We miss you so much! And love you even more. Every night before bed the boys always get hugs and kisses from me and I make sure they always get one from you as well! I tell them how much you love them and how much they meant to you! They were your baby boys who you were so proud of! You are and will always be there hero honey! Rest High baby until we met again! We love you! Watch over us and please keep giving me the strength to get through this for our boys! xoxoxo

well its been a month and a half but it seems like yesterday.I miss you so much,i cant get you off my mind.I dont understand what happened.One day your here next you are gone.It doesnt make sense.I WILL FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!!!!IF I HAVE TO DIE TRYING.YOU JUST KEEP ON WATCHING OVER US AND HOLD A SPOT FOR ME!!BUT RIGHT NOW IM STAYING HERE TO FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BIG BROTHER ON THE NIGHT OF 4/18/12.YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. Squeak..... I can't even find the words to say how much you will be missed.. We have had rough times and great times.. But all I will remember are the good times. I will always be proud to say that you are my brother... You will always be loved and never forgotten... Sleep well brother.

How I miss you everyday. It feels like its so hard to breathe without you. I still can't believe you are gone. I still hope everyday, I will wake up and realize its just a horrible nightmare. Steven Joe Lawhon, 42 of Lesage, WV passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 pm Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born July 4, 1969 in Huntington, a son of Dennis Joe Lawhon of Barboursville, and the late Carol Adkins Lawhon. Also surviving are his wife, Natasha Fox Lawhon; one daughter, Stephanie Lawhon; two sons, Hunter and Zakkary Lawhon; one sister, Christina Lawhon; and one brother, Tony Lawhon. Visitation will be after 2:30 pm Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
