1936 - 2012
Freda White, 76, of Milton, passed away September 6, 2012. She was a daughter of the late Hansel and Dollie Bailey Chapman and wife of the late Charles Mason White. She dedicated her life to caring for other people. She worked as a Nurses Aide in St. Marys Medical Center Pediatrics Unit for seven years, Whites Nursing Home for two years and Morris Memorial Nursing Home for 40 years. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline Chapman and Phyllis Cummings; one brother, Ivan PJ Chapman. Survivors include one sister, Barbara Spears; two brothers, Darrell (Charlotte) Chapman and Douglas (Sandra) Chapman as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She loved people and brought joy and happiness to so many lives she touched . She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton with Reverend Johnathon Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Bailey Cemetery, Salt Rock. Barb and family: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Freda. She was always so compassionate, caring, and a pleasure to work with. You and Freda always made things work so much smoother when we were working together. I pray that you will find comfort and peace in the coming days to ease your hearts. Freda will be misses terribly but has a special place in heaven.

HAVE KNOWN FREDA FOR SEVERAL YEARS. WE WORKED TOGEATHER AT MORRIS MEMORIAL NURSNG HOME IN MILTON. I REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH HER.SHE WAS A GREAT PERSON TO KNOW. SHE WILL BE MISSED.

FREDA HAD A HEART AS BIG AS ANYONE I'VE EVER MET. SHE HAD A TRUE NURSING HEART. SHE SHOWED SUCH COMPASION TOWARD THE SICK.I HAVE SO MANY WONDERFUL , PRECIOUS MEMORIES OF HER. SHE TAUGHT ME SO MANY THINGS, LESSONS I WILL CARRY WITH ME FOREVER. ALL WHO WORKED WITH HER WILL CARRY A PIECE OF HER IN OUR HEARTS .
