Marie Kuhn Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1915 - 2012 Marie Kuhn, 97, of Huntington, passed away Friday, September 21, 2012. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at Ridgelawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. She was born August 24, 1915, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Kenna and Maggie Adkins Kuhn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Willard Sr., John, Vivien, and Earsel Kuhn; one sister, Mary Rice; one great niece, Kristen Hope Kuhn; one great great niece, Kelsey Rebecca Kuhn, and one great nephew, Martin Kuhn. She is survived by five nephews, Michael L., Kelly, Willard Jr., Dewey and John Kuhn; three nieces, Rhonda Peyton, Sue and Barbara. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.

I was so saddened to hear of Aunt Bootsy's passing. She was one of THE greats! A beautiful sweet woman! I have fond memories of going to her house as a girl and playing with my cousins and getting to see the rest of my family around her and Mary's wonderful cooking! I loved her dearly! She will be missed, but I know she is wearing the wings she earned here on Earth.

I am sorry for your loss. I visited Ms Kuhn when she was in the same nursing home as my mom. She was a very sweet woman.

Aunt Bootsie, you will be missed. I will never forget the great times that Martin and I had visiting you, Mary, and John; Making apple butter, home made ice cream. And your cooking was great! Green beans I always call "Bootsie Beans", red velvet cake, hot dinner rolls and so many more great recipes too numerous to name. We love you; Godspeed.
