1918 - 2012
Garnet L. Morrison, 94, of Barboursville, passed away September 22, 2012 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1918, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Ura and Allie Braley Holley. She was a member of Susannah Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roma J. Morrison; and one son, Larry A. Morrison. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Lina Morrison of Barboursville; three grandchildren, Ronald Morrison Jr. (Kathy), Tammy (Gene) Vannatter, and Holly Morrison; four great grandchildren, Matthew Morrison, Zachary Vannatter, Justin (Sarah) Chapman, and Kristy (Greg) Davis; and four great great granchildren, Anastasia, Alexandria, Andreyah and Hadlee Davis. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Winford Curry. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Salt Rock. The family would like to thank all the staff at Wayne Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their care and support during mom's stay. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, P.O.
