1949 - 2012
 Gerri Irene Garrett, 63, of Milton, WV, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at St. Marys Medical Center. She was born February 16, 1949 in Jacksonville, FL, a daughter of the late Gerald Jerry and Monna Maree Peaches Toler. She was also preceded in death by an infant brother. Gerri graduated from Norview High School, Class of 1967, in Norfolk, VA. She had previously worked at the Huntington Mall for Zondervan Book Store and Stone & Thomas. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church in Huntington, WV. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, William Gerald Jerry Garrett; one son, William Cole Garrett and his wife Jessica of Buckhannon, WV; two daughters, Terri Irene Rappold and her husband Chris of Milton, WV, and Sarah Maree Wetherholt and her husband Shane of Milton, WV; one sister, Jill Devere Fair and her husband Greg of Suffolk, VA; four grandchildren, Cody Garrett and Cade Garrett of Buckhannon, WV, Kai Rappold and Maia Rappold of Milton; and three step grandchildren, Kamen Rappold, Morgan Knicely and Payton Knicely. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 12, 2012 at Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church, Huntington, by Pastor Doug Johnson. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, and after 10:00 am Friday at the church. Dear Uncle Jerry, Cole, Terri and Sarah, I am so very sorry for your loss. Thank God, we have the knowledge that we will see our loved ones again, and she truly is with our Lord and Savior.

Jerry,Cole,Terri,Sarah my heart and prayers go out to you and your extended families.My bond is when she lived in "the Springs"..such a great neighbor and Sarah ,my son Nathan and neighbor Stacy played together.She brought a gift over when Beth was born in 1981 :)wonderful person,wonderful Mom , wonderful wife .she always had a beautiful smile

We are so very sorry for your loss. I have so many wonderful memories of Gerri from the neiborhood and working with her at S&T. She had a geniune sweet soul and is loved by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family and friends.
